The most essential piece of advice I can give incoming freshmen is to learn about resources on campus early, even before you need them. That way, you will know where to go when you need help.
Don’t be embarrassed. Everyone needs help sometimes.
Don’t wait until the last minute to look for help because you don’t want to find yourself knocked down trying to get back up when you first start college. Get help so you don’t fall and can stay up strong in the face of challenges that are sure to come.
