The most essential piece of advice I have for an incoming commuter freshman is to stay motivated.
A lot of days you might just want to stay at home, but you have to know that isn’t the right choice. Some of the days I stayed home because I thought it wouldn’t matter or affect me, but I ended up missing some of the most important lectures or in-class assignments. You’ll just never know until you go and it’s always better to go to class. Accepting this advice will raise your grades.
