Michael J Mothershed is a Compact Scholar that graduated from Eastlake High School in 2011. At San Diego State, he majored in political science and graduated in 2015. While at SDSU, he worked as a student assistant in the Division of Undergraduate Studies. He was involved with Scholars for Success, Scholars Without Borders, and Mortar Board. He loved everything about San Diego State and talks about genuinely enjoying the benefits of the Compact Scholars Program. He particularly appreciates the opportunity to meet new people and the fact that the program really dedicated time in engaging students and giving them the support and tools to graduate. He recently relocated to Atlanta where he works in the Digital Marketing field as a Platform Specialist. In the near future, he would like to pursue a position as Director of Strategy and eventually as Chief Marketing Officer. Michael is enrolled to begin his Master of Business Administration in Spring of 2020 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
