Guess what Aztecs? Its Homecoming week at SDSU! In other words, the annual homecoming football game is coming up and will take place on Saturday, November 9 against the University of Nevada Wolf Pack. Kickoff starts at 7:30 pm at the San Diego County Credit Union Stadium and students can claim their free mobile ticket at SDSUStudentTix.com! Keep on the lookout for the fun events happening during Homecoming week that will get us Aztecs hyped for the upcoming game!

There is something going on every day of the week! For example, today at 5:30pm at Templo Mayor in the Aztec Student Union, One SDSU community will be hosting a panel called “Aztecs Past, Present and Future”. The topic this year is on Transgender and Non-binary Leaders. In this panel, SDSU leaders will come and talk about how their experiences at SDSU shaped them who they are today. Stay tuned if you want to get inspired. On Wednesday, from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Aztec Student Union Courtyard, there will be fun games and activities for the event I ♥ SDSU. Come take a break from all your studying and meet fellow Aztecs that are proud to be at SDSU. Also, on Thursday, from 10:00am-2:00pm, SDSU Marching Aztec’s will be performing at the Pep Rally that will be happening at the Farmers Market! So, come and enjoy a bite from the delicious vendors at the market and get pumped for this Saturday’s game! To add on, the 6th Annual Homecoming FunRun will be happening this Saturday at 9am, anyone can join in the fun as participants will be able to enjoy the campus! There are many more events going on this week, more than what I can name! If you want to check out more about what’s happening this week at SDSU, visit https://homecoming.sdsu.edu/events.

The Homecoming Steering Committee selected this year’s theme, “There’s No Place Like SDSU”. I really love that we are all one big community and can agree that SDSU is the place to be at! I am excited to see how this Homecoming week turns out. And as for this Saturday’s homecoming game, all I have to say is “I believe that we will win!”.
