One of the most essential advice/tip for incoming freshman commuter students entering SDSU in future years is DO NOT PROCRASTINATE IN ANY MOMENT. You are not in high school anymore, and university is not easy as high school. You will need to put more effort into everything, whether it is a simple homework assignment or a big project — you will have to do it on time. There are usually no extensions for the due dates. If you do not do it on time, you will struggle mightily. You will regret it so much if this happens to you. There is no time for procrastinating in SDSU. Your schedule will be full of assignments, homework, projects, scholarship applications, counselor appointments, tutoring, quizzes, midterms, finals, etc. If you procrastinate for a couple of days, you will find yourself so behind you might go a little crazy. I learned this lesson the hard way when I procrastinated in my online class, and had to watch 6 one hour videos in less than two days. Plus, I needed to study for finals, and try to raise all my grades before this semester ends. Easy peasy lemon squeezy, right? Don’t dig yourself a hole like I did.
